The
Storyline
A 1970s home finds a new identity through a renovation that respects its character and reinterprets it in a contemporary style.
The project emerged from listening to the clients and carefully examining the existing structure, in order to translate their needs into spaces capable of accommodating their habits and desires.
The project
We reimagined the interiors starting with light: enhancing it wherever it enters, seeking views that breathe life into the spaces.
The absence of windows on one side of the house shaped the layout of the spaces, the relationships between the rooms, and the pathways connecting them. The eye is thus drawn to the outdoor panorama—a “borrowed landscape” that flows into the home and becomes part of everyday life.
Custom solutions in the entry areas and climate control in every room round out the project, meeting the practical needs and ensuring the daily comfort of the residents.
The project
The selection and use of materials—including wood, marble, and travertine—guided the combinations of surfaces and textures, creating a dialogue between the home’s history and a contemporary aesthetic.
